The protagonist in Gung Ho is Hunt Stevenson who convinces Assan Motors to reopen the local plant that had been shut for nine months and tries to bridge the gap between the employer and employees (IMDb, n.d). On the other hand, the antagonist is Assan Motors, a Japanese based company that takes advantage of the desperate workforce in Pennsylvania by subjecting them to low wages, adverse living conditions, harsh rules, and unpaid overtime dues. Besides, human resource and political frames have been used in Japanese company (Bolman & Deal, 2017). Human resource frame mainly gives characteristics of organizations and people, and what results from their interaction. In this frame, the practices by managers on the people in the organization determine whether the employees get motivated or remain reluctant in undertaking tasks assigned to them by the organization.

However, the political frame is evident in the Hunt who tries to lure laborers to put more effort in ensuring that they hit the threshold set of 15000 cars. Furthermore, the threshold is set in regard to the best Japanese plant to create competition that could see employees getting pay increment while the unemployed get a chance of employment in the company. In pursuit of reframing the situation evident in the film, employees have to be given their rights, for instance joining unions for their welfare (Individual needs and structural alignment). Also, the management should be all inclusive whereby every participant in the organization can voice their concern or give their contribution in making the company better.

Moreover, the organizational theory evident is classical organization which focuses mainly on productivity and efficiency without paying attention on the needs and behaviors of employees (Amanchunkwu, Stanley & Ololube, 2015). Nonetheless, neoclassical organization and contingency theories could help in strengthening the relationship between employees and the management thus motivating employees to become more productive and shaping good management strategies by managers in making decisions likely to improve the efficiency and productivity of employees. Nevertheless, Hunt and Kaz decide to lead by example when they go to the plant by themselves and start making cars without employees (IMDb, n.d). Ultimately, the employees get inspired by the commitment of their leaders, which makes them diligent. The management also works with employees especially when the inspection by Sayatosh, the CEO, is bound to happen. Again, human resource frame serves in ensuring that the management adequately caters for the needs of employees. This was the best choice since empowering employees motivates them to work even harder and for the benefit of the company.
